Antique Rose Emporium Wedding
Kristin + Oliver's wedding was so special to me, and I have to admit, I had to keep myself from shedding a few tears as I watched Kristin walk down the aisle - (yes, it was totally one of these moments.) However, in my defense, I wasn't just watching my client walk down the aisle, I was watching my friend. As I mentioned in Kristin's Bridal post, we became instant friends from our very first meeting, and it was so fun to see everything come together on her wedding day after us talking about all the details and decor for so long.
Kristin and Oliver are so much fun together, and this vintage Texas wedding was an absolute blast! I don't know if I've ever laughed so hard with a group of groomsmen, these guys were awesome ... and the bridesmaids were equally as great - always so sweet and helpful.
The Antique Rose Emporium in Brenham has now become one of my very favorite venues. Before even pulling up, I kept telling Jason "this is going to be amazing", as we drove along an old two lane road with nothing but fields and farms. (It also helps that the Emporium is located right beside the original location of Baylor University - Sic 'Em!) Every single part of this venue has so much charm and character. The ceremony took place outside at the gazebo, where Kristin had a lemonade stand with drinks and popcorn for guests to enjoy. Afterwards, we walked up the old dirt path to the chapel where dinner was held, then back down another path to the outdoor area for dancing under the stars and twinkle lights. Simply amazing.
Kristin's gorgeous Pronovias lace dress is from Brickhouse Bridal and her pink ruffled heels are Badgley Mischkas. Kristin let her bridesmaids find their own dresses, which I just love. The various shades of pink looked so beautiful and fit the feel of the day perfectly.
The flowers were done by Moose Feathers and her beautiful cakes were made by The Muffin Top. Reema, the wedding planner from Something Planned, helped things run smoothly throughout the day and Daulongs Mobile Music kept everyone on the dance floor!
All of their invitations, print design, and overall styling was done by the super talented Lauren Cunningham of The Creative Parsol. This girl is so so talented, you have got to check her out!
Congrats Kristin + Olivers! Thank you for letting me be a part of your day ... and a part of your lives!
